HYAC inaugurated Tuesday morning with the participation of Mr. Ahmed Salmin, Governor of Aden Governorate, Major General Ahmad Abdullah Al Turki, Governor of Lahj Province, Engineer Tawfiq Al Sharjabi, Acting Minister of Water and the delegation of the Kuwait Relief Society. The total cost of the project is $ 300,000, funded by the State of Kuwait, represented by the Kuwait Relief Society. The project aims to increase the amount of water pumped to the local network in the governorate, which contributes to alleviating the water crisis experienced by some districts in the governorate.
The governor of Aden , Mr. Ahmed Salmin, expressed his sincere thanks to HYAC for being an association that has been working silently and without noise, despite its great projects and clear human fingerprints in Aden and Yemen in particular.
Mr. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, Acting Minister of Water, expressed thanks to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people for their support and support to Yemen’s children in the difficult circumstances of the country, pointing out the importance of the drilling projects in the daily needs of the population.
