Awareness raising sessions on the 16-days campaign against violence in the Shabwa governorate
15 December، 2019Mr. Abdo Mahzab, Acting Director of the Executive Unit of the IDP Camps in Yemen, met with Mr. Amr Tarek, HYAC Program Coordinator and Mr. Haitham Saad, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
During the meeting, they discussed the conclusion of the project of furnishing the offices of the Executive Unit for IDP camps in Aden, Lahj, Hadramout, Taiz and Hodeidah governorates, which is implemented by HYAC and funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
During the meeting, he praised the leading role of HYAC and its quality programs in many governorates, calling on humanitarian organizations and bodies to redouble their efforts and support the executive unit in alleviating the suffering of the displaced, especially in light of the circumstances that Yemen is going through which exacerbated the movement of displacement.
